Add a watermark to photos

Stamp your name or logo on a whole batch of photos. Your images are processed on your device and never uploaded, and there is no sign-up.

How to watermark images online

  1. Add your JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files

Drop JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files into the box, choose them from your device, or paste them from your clipboard. You can add hundreds at once.

  2. Add your watermark privately on your device

Type your text or choose your logo, pick where it goes, and set the size and opacity. The preview shows how it looks, and every image gets the same mark on your device.

  3. Download your watermarked images

Save each file on its own, or take them all in one ZIP. Your files stay private: they never leave your device, so there is no upload to wait for.

Add a text or logo watermark to many photos

A watermark says whose photo it is. Use text for a name or a line such as © 2026 Your name, or choose your logo as a PNG with a transparent background, so only its shape is drawn. Set the mark once and it goes on the whole batch.

A preview shows the mark on a sample photo while you change anything. Size is a percentage of each picture's width, so a phone photo and a wide panorama get a mark that looks the same.

Watermarks usually go on photos you are about to sell, post or send to a client, often before they are public. Here they are marked on your device and never uploaded, so the clean originals stay with you.

Opacity10% to 100%Lower is fainter. Around 70% shows without hiding the photo

Where to put a watermark

A mark in a corner is easy to read and easy to crop away. The center is harder to remove but covers part of the photo. Repeating the mark across the whole image is the hardest to remove, which suits photos you share before they are paid for or released.

A white mark reads on dark photos and a black one on bright photos. If a batch mixes both, make the mark a little larger and fainter instead of switching colours.

Questions about watermarking photos

How do I add a watermark to many photos at once?

Type your text or choose your logo, set the position, size and opacity, then add your photos. The same watermark goes on every one, and you can download them one by one or all together in a ZIP.

How do I add a copyright watermark to photos?

Choose Text and type your mark, for example © 2026 Your name. Pick a corner or the center, set the size, then add your photos. The same mark goes on every one.

How do I make a watermark transparent?

Lower the Opacity. Around 70% shows the mark without hiding the photo, and lower values make it fainter still. The preview updates as you change it.

Can I use my own logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose Logo and pick an image file. A PNG with a transparent background works best, because only the shape of the logo is drawn on the photo.

Will the watermark look the same on every photo?

Yes. Size is a percentage of each picture's width, not a fixed number of pixels, so a phone photo and a large camera photo get a mark of the same proportion.

Can someone remove my watermark?

A mark in a corner can be cropped out or painted over. Repeating it across the whole image, at a lower opacity, is much harder to remove without damaging the photo. No watermark is impossible to remove.

Does watermarking change the file format?

No. A JPG stays a JPG and a PNG stays a PNG. The file size can change a little, and Compress can make the result smaller afterwards.

Are my images private?

Yes. Sanil.app watermarks your images on your device, so they are never uploaded and never reach a server. They stay yours.
