HEIC to JPG converter

Turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPGs that open on any device. Files stay on your device, never uploaded.

How to convert HEIC to JPG online

  1. Add your HEIC and HEIF files

Drop HEIC and HEIF files into the box, choose them from your device, or paste them from your clipboard. You can add hundreds at once.

  2. Convert HEIC to JPG privately on your device

Each HEIC photo is decoded on your device and saved as a JPG at the smallest size that still looks the same. Location data is removed.

  3. Download your JPG files

Save each file on its own, or take them all in one ZIP. Your files stay private: they never leave your device, so there is no upload to wait for.

Why convert HEIC to JPG?

HEIC is the format iPhones and iPads use for photos. It keeps files about half the size of a JPG at similar quality, but Windows, many websites and plenty of apps can't open it without an extra codec. JPG opens everywhere, so converting makes a photo easy to share, upload or print.

Photos from your phone are personal, and here they stay that way. Sanil.app decodes each HEIC photo on your device and saves a JPG, so nothing travels to a server. There is no daily limit and no waiting for an upload.

Questions about converting HEIC to JPG

Will I lose quality?

JPG is lossy, so a little detail is lost, but Sanil.app picks the smallest file that still looks the same, so the difference is hard to see.

Does it keep my photo's date and location?

Location data is always removed, so shared photos don't reveal where they were taken.

Can I convert Live Photos?

The still image converts to JPG. The short video part of a Live Photo is not included.

How do I open HEIC photos on Windows or Android?

Convert them to JPG here. Windows needs an extra codec to open HEIC, and many Android apps and websites reject it, while a JPG opens everywhere. Add the photos, then download the JPGs.

Are my HEIC files private?

Yes. Sanil.app converts your HEIC files on your device, so they are never uploaded and never reach a server. They stay yours.
