How to resize one image to multiple sizes
Add your image
Drop a photo into the box, choose it from your device, or paste it from your clipboard. Add several photos and each one gets every size you list.
List your sizes, privately on your device
Add a row for each size: a shape such as 1:1 or 16:9, a width, a format and how to crop. Every size is made on your device, and Never enlarge skips any size bigger than the original.
Download every size
Save each file on its own, or take them all in one ZIP. Your files stay private: they never leave your device, so there is no upload to wait for.
Resize one image to several sizes at once
A single photo rarely fits everywhere. A square post, a link preview and a thumbnail all want a different size and shape. Instead of resizing and cropping the same photo again for each one, list the sizes once and get a file for every row.
Under the image list, one tile per file previews its own crop, so you can see what each size keeps before you download.
Product photos before a launch, a client's artwork or a family photo can all get their sizes without being uploaded. The original and every copy stay on your device.
| Setting | Choices | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Original shape, a ratio from 1:1 to 9:16, or Custom | Original shape keeps the photo's proportions. A ratio works out the height from the width. Custom lets you set both sides |
| Width | Any number of pixels | Sets the width of the file. Height follows from the shape unless it is Custom |
| Format | Original format, JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF | Keeps each file's own format, or saves that size as another one |
| Crop | Fit inside, or Fill from the center, top or bottom | Fit inside keeps the whole picture. Fill covers the shape and crops what doesn't fit |
Example sizes to start from
The panel opens with three example rows, each in the original format unless noted. They are not presets: change them, remove them or add your own with Add size. A row that repeats an earlier one is flagged, so you never make the same file twice.
| Size in px | Shape and crop | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 1200 × 630 | Custom, fill from the center | Link previews and banners |
| 1080 × 1080 | 1:1, fill from the center | Square posts and profile pictures |
| 800 wide | Original shape, as WebP | Images for a website or a blog |
Questions about making multiple sizes
How do I resize one image to several sizes?
Add the image, then give each size its own row with a shape, a width, a format and a crop. Use Add size for more rows. Every row becomes a file, and you can download them all together in a ZIP.
How do I make one image for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube at once?
Add a row for each: for example 1080 wide at 1:1 for a square post, 1200 × 630 with Custom for a link preview, and 1280 wide at 16:9 for a thumbnail. Choose Fill so each file is exactly that shape, then download them all in a ZIP.
What is the difference between Fit inside and Fill?
Fit inside shrinks the whole picture to fit the size, so nothing is cut off. Fill covers the whole shape and crops what doesn't fit, from the center, the top or the bottom. Choose Fill when the file must be exactly that shape.
What does Never enlarge do?
It skips any size bigger than the original, so a small photo is never stretched into a blurry one. Turn it off if you want every size made anyway.
Can I save different sizes in different formats?
Yes. Each row has its own Format, so one photo can become a WebP for a website and a JPG for an email.
How is this different from Resize?
Resize makes one size of each image, with the same setting for all of them. Multiple sizes makes one file per row from each image, and can crop every one to its own shape. Use Resize for a batch at one size, and Multiple sizes when one photo needs several.
Are my images private?
Yes. Sanil.app resizes and crops your images on your device, so they are never uploaded and never reach a server. They stay yours.
